THE CHILD
SOMETIME, after Muhammad (pbuh)’s marriage, he was blessed with
a son. Parents loved the little child. While still young the child
fell ill. The father tended his son day and night and child got well.
Sometime later the child fell ill once again. The loving parents did
their best, but this time they could not save him. The flower was
covered with dust. Khadija and Muhammad (pbuh) did not cry or wail.
They wept silently.
