AN OLD WOMAN
One day an old woman who was a widow, came to Khadija. She was very
poor and had no relations to help her. She was too old and could not
work. When Muhammad (pbuh) heard her tale of distress he said to his
wife. “You should not eat or drink anything nor should you give
me anything to eat or drink unless you have provided for this poor
old woman.”
Khadija gladly obeyed her husband.
